So, I am planning on watching the fight at home, by myself. (2 year old with another baby (1st boy) due in 2 weeks = lock down this weekend)
Am I the only one that was expecting to pay $50 or $60 for this fight?
I just checked and the fight on pay per view is $99.95 - to watch a boxing match? This is a principal thing at this point. I can watch the fight on youtube (for free) 20 minutes after it is over.
I am really having to mull this one over. To watch a couple 147 pound runts (not to mention - geezers in the sports world) go the distance against each other, is not the same as a heavyweight bout. Don't get me wrong I do understand the historical significance...
It is a no brainer if watching it with friends, but $100 to watch by myself. I don't know if I am going to do it?
P.S. I also heard one of the championship belts cost one million dollars. It didn't look all that impressive either.
