Matt Campbell went 9-3/10-2 respectively at Toledo in 2014-2015. Campbell was hired by ISU and proceeded to go 3-9. Here we are and they’re a Top 4 team in the conference currently.
Matt Wells went 6-7/11-2. We’re sitting at minimum 3-9 with likely at least one more win vs Kansas.
Look, I hate where we’re at as a program right now. It sucks to watch us lose, but let’s take a breath and see where we are end of next year. We are infinitely better defensively. Offense has taken a massive step back, but let’s not forget most of our fans were screaming for balance at this point last year.
