Over the last few weeks, Terps HC Kevin Willard took shots at the program and the AD. Same time speculation came out that he was being courted by Villanova who quietly hasn’t hired a coach.
Willard effectively forced out the AD through his complaints and got what he wanted. However, this was not enough and word has leaked that the second the Terps run ends, he’s bolting for Villanova.
Obviously this is incredibly awkward and fascinating to watch as it’s not our problem. He was due to bring back some critical pieces next year too (ahem Buffington)
