Friday afternoon update - No forecast change. Low clouds in the morning, 50s for tailgating. Temperature won't move much until the low clouds break up. Those are always tough to forecast, but should probably clear pretty quickly around kickoff or just after.

Kickoff upper 60s, end of the game near 80. Wind in the morning NE, becoming E/SE by game time. Once we see more sun SE wind 12-18mph. High temp near 82.

Thursday afternoon update
- Forecast on track. There will probably be some low clouds in the morning, low near 56. Kickoff in the upper 60s, end of the game near 80. High temp after the game low to mid 80s. Some clouds possible early, becoming mostly sunny. Wind E/SE 5-15mph.

One computer model shows a front in the Panhandle making it south of Lubbock early Sat morning. It's not a strong front, so if that does pan out high would be upper 70s Sat. But at this point looks like the front will stay farther north.

posted Wed morning - Nice Saturday, high close to 80. It'll probably feel a bit warmer with lots of sun expected. It won't be the wind of the Geno Smith game, probably S 10-18mph.

There may be some rain in the region, but at this point it looks like that'll be down near Abilene.

Guns Up!
