Friday afternoon update
If you're in Lubbock today will be pretty similar to tomorrow. It's been up to 92 through almost 3p today...about the same tomorrow. Near 90 at the kick, about 92-94 for the high, lots of sun.

Hot one at Jones Stadium this week...right now it looks like it'll be close to 90 at kickoff. This far out it looks like there might be a few showers or storms at some point between Friday and Sunday, so the actual chance during the game is low.
High of 91 doesn't sound too bad on a typical day, but that's plenty hot in the sun for several hours. It doesn't look as hot as the Sunday SMU games a few years ago, but be ready for heat.
