Friday afternoon update
I forgot to include Saturday morning forecast below. Also, the wind will be stronger than posted below. Otherwise, rest of the forecast is on track.
Low temperature Saturday morning around 35. That'll be near 7 a.m. So if you're heading to Big Noon Kickoff early, it'll be cold. Mid 40s at the start of the broadcast, mid 50s by the end.
For the game, wind out of the W/SW 10-18mph, occasionally may gust over 20mph. Nothing too strong by West Texas standards, but noticeable.
Over last seven days, a weather site just NW of the stadium was received 3.42" of rain.
posted Wednesday
Sunny fall day Saturday in Lubbock.
It will be cool and rainy Thursday and Friday, with the rain chance going lower Friday afternoon.
On Saturday, kickoff in the mid 60s, dropping to the mid 50s by the end of the game. Sunny/clear sky. Light westerly wind.
Sunset Saturday at 5:48 p.m.
Guns Up!
