A colleague of mine went to this yesterday with her daughter who is a very smart (Top 10 at a great high school) and interested in engineering. She participated in the Tech engineering summer program.
Tech had their colleges there along with general representatives for UT, OU, OSU, RU, Tulsa, UNM and others.
Guess what was the only college from Tech that they couldn’t find a booth for? Engineering.
I realize the college is doing well and flush in cash. Still seems a little strange not to have easy marketing right in your own backyard.
