Our family had been looking for him for sometime. Called his cell phone and someone answered, said Drew had sold his cell phone to her a couple of weeks ago, and that he was in Fort Lauderdale.
His mother then filled a missing persons report. She got a call from the police a few hours ago, they had him, and Drew had passed away 2 weeks ago from an apparent overdose.
Entire family is absolutely devastated.
As for me, I hurt more than I ever thought I could. And I’m also so damn angry! I want to find the person that first gave him or sold him these drugs, and take their life instead of my grandsons.
To all of you, please watch your children and grandchildren carefully. Make sure that you are the biggest influence in their life. And you’ll know that you are because you will feel it.
This opioid shit has got to stop. And I pray that it stops with Drew. If you see someone selling this shit, take their picture and report it. Don’t just pass it off and shake your head. And pray that it never affects your family.
