I've seen it many times about the worry of potentially losing a rising star coach to another school.
Aside from the fact that might be a nice problem to have, is it really a warranted fear?
I don't have the data to back this up, but how many times in the past 20yrs has a P5 team (while they were a P5 team) lost their head coach to another P5 team? It rarely happens! Why? Because most P5 schools have the ability to pay their coach if they are worth it. We would be no different.
