My 17 year old has been diagnosed with a vocal tic that started as a hiccup and has advanced to more of a spasm periodically during the day. It has been recommended to us we see a neurologist to help her with this. I’m reaching out to this group to see if anyone has any recommendations in this area. Because of her age, we aren’t tied to finding a pediatric neurologist. We have gone through all kinds of tests and luckily have ruled out all of the physical issues that could cause this and we are now down to hoping it is a tic that we can cure for her. Any recommendations you can pass along would be greatly appreciated.
