I just spoke with Southlake (TX) Carroll athlete Lil'Jordan Humphrey and followed up on the report that Texas Tech was now in his 'Top 2'.
The report is accurate, however, Humphrey is also reaching out to Wisconsin as well. He is mainly interested in if there is a spot available and how the program would use him. He did not see himself at Cal and that is what brought about the change of heart.
As of now, he has kept in touch with Coach Morris and Coach Jones, but there is no visit setup and we will keep everyone updated if that changes.
When they have talked, the coaches see Humphrey playing the Y-receiver position in the Tech offense.
My opinion? Humphrey is a very strong Texas lean and a visit would not surprise me, but I still see him committing to Texas at the end of the day.
