I kinda feel like this group is flying under the radar a little bit in the conference and maybe even within the fanbase.
Out of L. Clark, A. Morales, J. Kaster, and B. Brown--we might have the best experience/talent combo since that 2008 line. I think the expectation is that J. Murphy is going to man the RT spot, but I am really interested to see where P. Stawarz and Okafor fit in--being older, and more experienced than the HS kids. Also, from what I've heard Tony Morales is finally healthy and it's never been a talent issue for him (always health). R. Casteneda has a really high ceiling as well, and I'd bet that he's a top option at G/C this Fall.
I think with as many starts as this group has under their belts and assuming we can gel with a new RT in the mix, I expect big things from DeAndre on the ground and (assuming) Pat through the air. I don't see any reason why this can't be a 2,250 yard rushing team and a 4,750 yard passing team. For reference, we were at 1,836 rushing and 4,213 passing last year.
