If we are going to be honest. Really deep down within ourselves honestly we aren‘t surprised. After decades of faithfully following TTU football (and all major sports for that matter) we know they will always let us down. #2 in the nation under Leach? Choke against OU and miss out on a chance for a national championship shot. Men’s basketball vs UVA for the national title in basketball? Of course not. Bragging about our baseball team? Worse every year. There are bright spots. Track. Ranch horse. Meat judging. They are very successful and and should be celebrated because the work hard and earn it. Just don’t expect anything from the football, basketball or baseball programs. They hang around and excite us from time to time but never seem to get it done. Here’s to another year of TTU football...
