I remember a lot of fans were actively rooting to lose the game. I really wanted to beat Texas and just couldn’t root against Tech but a year later I’m right there.
Honestly if there is no announcement today I will think less of Kirby. Kliff has had 6 years and the test has been failed. Good coaches overcome challenges and win.
It’s sad it is actually going to come down to going freaking 6-6...in year 6. What the hell kind of program has this become? If RU, OSU, and KSU can win the Big 12, we easily can as well.
If Kliff loses against RU, we will have had the same amount of losing seasons under Kliff as from 1990-2013.
Colorado doesn’t have as good of a program as us and they paid $10MM to fire a coach who was coach of the year 2 years ago but has had similar records to Kliff since.
It was win out or get out and we are still waiting to see if he beats a shitty Baylor team? Go get Brown or Littrel and see if we can’t do better than trying to squeak into a bowl on the last game of the year.
