I thought the OL did very well last night. One huge improvement was in penalties. Only one 5 yard penalty for the entire game, and I think that was a WR. In fact, the offense as a whole had only 2 penalties. Our WR's 15 yard personal foul on the goal was a bonehead move and in all likelihood cost us a touchdown. Seen a lot of OLines jump when they have to adjust to 2 different qbs. The OL also did a commendable job in protecting the qb. This was even more impressive with a freshman qb who is arguably the least mobile of the 3. Lastly, they showed much improvement in the running attack, particularly to the outside. While Ole Miss was horrible against the run last year, it still had some talent and size. Overall, I was very pleased with their play. And... no significant injuries. I wish I would've paid more attention to how much time reserves got. I'd like to hear other opinions, particularly on any backups in the game.
