1. The confessed murderers said he wasn't there and was innocent.
2. There was no evidence against him and the witness used to convict him said the cops pressures her to lie and recanted.
3. He had an alibi and corroborating witnesses.
4. Punk ass, bitch ass, Republican governor refused to pardon him or let him out of prison even for his mom's funeral. Same punk ass governor that celebrated the white guy getting off for killing two people a few days earlier.
This shit is why I have zero confidence in the justice system or Republicans. They cannot see past race when it comes to innocence and guilt. And those of you who argue that justice is blind are full of shit.
Right wingers will celebrate a white man killing two protesters at a BLM march, but won't say jack shit about a man spending 4 decades in prison for a crime he didn't commit.
