USF Recruiting
2009 Class (Patrick's 1st recruiting cycle back at USF) - USF signed 5 four star kids......Patrick, who was listed as DE coach, is credited with 6 total signees:
2 - Two Stars
1 - Three Star
3 - Four Stars
Out of the 3 four star recruits....
Data from then thru when he left is sketchy on their site for some reason. Also, that's when stability at the HC position became a revolving door after firing Leavitt in 2010 & hiring Skip Holtz, then Taggert.
Point being, even at a place like USF he showed a good initial impact in recruiting on the DL, which should excite us all!! I just hope and pray he can recreate that type of recruiting immediately stepping on campus!!

- another DE was #61 on the Rivals 250 & #3 ranked DE in the country who had offers from every major program in the country including all SEC powerhouses
- 2 of the 3 were junior college guys but who cares IMO
- one was a DT
- another was #89 on the Rivals 250 with offers from every major program
- Both list speaking with Patrick in associated articles and as a big reason for picking USF over offers from bigger programs
