No inside info, and no idea how many spots are left with anticipated attrition. Just wanted to take a stab at who we may be targeting to round out the class.
Commits and Former Commits
DL Philip Blidi - Pretty obvious that unless something has changed drastically, the staff will try to keep him on board and sign him.
WR Quin Bright - Depending on his exact situation for not signing in December, I just wonder if he could be in the fold (i.e. if it's a grades/test score issue and he improves in time).
DL Clinton Anokwuru - Former commit who may have lost his spot, but has been tweeting about Tech lately (may just be pandering for follows/likes).
Other Targets
TE Brandon Frazier - Arkansas decommit who has been noted as a top priority for the staff. Sounds like they will have lots of competition for him though.
OL Cedric Melton - IIRC he took an OV to Tech after committing to Arizona but stuck with his commitment. But he opted not to sign in December, so maybe the door is open if the staff still wants him.
DB Jabbar Muhammad - Oklahoma State commit who took an OV here and was maybe rumored to flip but never did (at least not publicly). He's opted to wait to sign until February. Tech may have enough DBs by now but there's at least a connection there.
DB J'Marick Woods - Grad transfer candidate from Michigan. Golan said he's down to Tech or Duke but unsure on a timeline for his decision.
RB Frank Brown - RB depth is still thin and I think he's had a Tech offer for awhile. For whatever reason he didn't sign with anyone and is uncommitted.
RB Kendal Taylor - Not familiar with this guy but has a Tech offer and is uncommitted/unsigned as of today. Again, just guessing he may be a candidate if another RB is taken in this class.
I'm sure there are a dozen grad transfer/JUCO candidates that nobody is aware of yet. Anyway, just thought I'd share.
