I have read that in UT's national championship year they did not lose a single starter for a single game due to injury. later I had an OU fan tell that OU had pretty much the same luck when they won their MNC.
Not sure we have had anything even remotely close to that in the last 20 years. Especially along the two lines. neither team was starting true freshmen along the lines.
