After searching for a job that would keep my family in Texas (Austin) for the past two years, I've finally decided that this is the best opportunity I'll get. I've worked for the same company for 11 years and it is time to blaze my own trail!
And, yes, I know it rains in Seattle, but I'm looking forward to trading in the Austin summer for a few months of rain! This is a huge move for us and we don't know anyone in the area.
