Knew a girl that went to Purdue and went to visit her when I was in undergrad. While touring campus, ran into a building with a plaque for Jerry Rawls at the business school—found out the building was named Rawls Hall. Turns out Rawls got his master’s degree at Purdue after tech and he donated $10 million toward the building.

Edit: posted this a little early. So that building is part of their business school, while ours is named after him. Thought some might find that interesting. Totally caught me off guard when I was there.
