Just got Linder’s contract from Tech Athletics. Some notes…
- 3 year contract that expires 3/31/2027
- Linder will be making $1,728,260 over the 3 years of his deal, including $528,260 in year 1 and $600,000 each in years 2 and 3
- all of the other standard contract stuff is included, including a courtesy car or allowance, moving fees paid for, etc.
- if Tech fires Linder without cause they would owe him 70% of the remaining money
- if Linder leaves Tech on his terms he would owe either 15% or 30% of the remaining contract depending on which type of job he takes (if it’s another HC job or NBA assistant it’s the lower amount)
The contract was signed by Linder on 5/10/24.
