I wanted to add a few tidbits on Lane. He didn't want to connect over the phone, so we exchanged a few texts on the visit yesterday and here are the highlights...
- I really enjoyed the visit, I love Coach Gibbs. He has been my guy since high school.
- I mostly speak with Coach Spavital and Coach Scott from Texas Tech, we have talked on and off for months now.
- We watched tape together as soon as I got there. We actually watched tape twice.
- The coaches said that I could come in and start. The need me, they want me, and I can come in and make the defense better.
- Da'Leon Ward was my host for the weekend, he introduced me to some of the players and I was able to vibe with them, see what they thought of the coaches.
- I know Keke (Coutee), Pat (Mahomes), and Reggie (Davis) from East Texas. Reggie is actually my cousin.
