...but as often it's when you play them!

At the half way point, Tech has played a pretty frosty conference schedule. Currently 5th, but have games with three of the four teams ahead of them: Baylor, Kansas, and Iowa State. Two of those are at home, Homey.

I think after half the conference season with no significant injuries (sorry Khavon), Tech is what we think they are: They don't score a lot of points, Raiders are not going to win many games 78 - 74. Raiders are built to win 65 - 60. That's how it is. So love it, embrace it, pine for it, and cheer Tech to clamp down on some fools and make playing against Tech a real unpleasant chore.

Raiders are 5th, I've always been a proponent of good teams beat the teams they should beat. If Tech is a good team, they should win:

Today. At OU. At OSU. vs. OSU. @ TCU. vs. Texas. Win those six I think they should win and Tech is 11-4.

Now win some home games, at where most teams play better and Tech is no exception:
vs. Baylor. vs. Kansas. Win those two and Tech is 13-4 with a game to play at Iowa State.

I'll take my chances with that.
