Coming into the season, there were three predominant mantras on this board:
(1) Just play a little defense
(2) Just find a way to get bowl eligible
(3) Just stop the embarrassing losses
All three of those are happening now, or are at least in play for the near future. But some of you are still ripping everything. Even though we all knew the OL and the run game were questionable. Even though we all knew the defense still had holes in a few spots.
I am just as negative as anyone else, and I am sports sad today as well. BUT COME ON!! Everyone on this board feared a 2-2 or 1-3 start with blowouts on defense.
Please be objective, this is best we could have reasonably hoped for, and the team is meeting almost all of the modest goals the fans set for them. Don't let disappointment get the best of you after a close loss where they fought back. We didn't have that ability to come from behind before.
I'll go KMS with fire now.
