I live in SEC country and I’m hearing lots of noise, albeit unofficial, that Miss State is prepared to offer Tadlock 1.5mm for five years. I believe he’s making $900m now and it’s been speculated here we would likely be renegotiating the existing contract, regardless of the Miss States of the world.
I have heard very little short of a thread of two, from Tech sources about this, though the season has been over for only a few days.
Does anyone have any insight into this matter. I have to believe Kirby is ahead of the issue but can Tech afford to match an offer like that, if in fact it came?
