hear me out. like most, I thought that the offense looked much more crisp and smooth once shimonek was put in. I thought that to be kind of weird but then it struck me. Do our offensive players just expect so much out of mahomes that they know he is going to bail them out of every situation? Does it make them almost play too relaxed and maybe a little unfocused? Then, once Shimonek was put in, the rest of the O felt compelled to step up their game because they knew that Pat wasn't in to make up for mistakes causing the offense to be run like it should have been the whole time?
