A stickler for details? Just thinking here, I don’t think there is any chance that we have a new coach next year due to the buyout. But let’s say that happened after next year for whatever reason. Seems that a good bet would be to hire a defensive minded coach that is a detailed guy. Wouldn’t it be easier to hire him as the HC so you don’t have any transition issues on the D side of things? As long as you hire a decent oc that runs a similar style to our O we have had for years then you shouldn’t have any transition issues ie mas transfers and learning the system hiccups.
