Rewatching OSU vs ISU this morning, realizing how unproductive I’ll be this week waiting for this game. Thoughts so far:
1) Their freshman qb is mobile and tests the discipline of the defenses he faces.
2) OSU’s defense does not look disciplined.
3) OSU also didn’t get to gameplan for this type of mobility
4) OSU torched their defense quite a bit through the air with plays I definitely feel are replicable with our personnel.
5) I’m so ready to run it down their throat with this three down linemen BS, which is what we haven’t been able to do the last two years.
6) We were coming back on them well last year until Willies (that A-hole) completely whiffed on his block and allowed the pick-6.
7a) I think Duffey exposed WVU’s defensive weakness: A mobile QB.
7b) I can’t wait to see Allen/Brooks/Jeffers and co lay the wood and stop this running QB nonsense.
7c) I also want Dorsey to knock the hell out of him.
7d) Did Dorsey play yesterday?
8) Some of the TDs ISU made against OSU were some circus, dare-I-say lucky type of catches. Perhaps the catches weren’t lucky, but the defense was in position to make a play and just didn’t turn around (ahem... Des Smith). Please God DBs, turn around and pick some of these balls.
9) The ISU love after one good win vs WVU is truly amazing, particularly from Level and Dickens (still love you guys).
