Interested in talking all things investment, from tools and websites and reddits and tweets to funds and stocks and short term, long term, shorting, buying, hodl, day trades to decades.

What are you buying for the near term profit taking? What are you hodling for retirement, or to give to your kids? Who is your broker or what service do you use?

Would love to hear your investment strategies, thoughts on any and all markets. What technical indicators do you use, if any?

I find myself now with up to an extra $1g a month to kick around. Only thing hanging over my head now is the mortgage, and I'm working on it. But, my rate is pretty fair at under 3.5% and I should be able to beat that and earn some extra as I pay off the mortgage ahead of schedule.

Some questions I'm pondering:
I have my company 403b (think 401k) and they match 50% of the first 6%. I'm currently allocating 10% of my gross to that. I'm considering reducing my 403b contribution to the 6% so I get the free company money, and using that 4% difference somewhere else. I've got a Roth IRA (Vanguard) and that gets $5k or so a year.

So...what are y'all doing? Where are you looking long term? Short term? I like a little short term for the immediate cash flow, but I have a regular day job so I can't get into the weeds like I want to.
Who handles your investments? What platform(s) do you prefer and why? What are you actually buying and selling today? What are your hot tips?
