Watching OSU run through (to this point) Alabama in golf got me thinking (always a dangerous deal): I can't recall a year when injuries have so plainly and adversely affected so many Tech sports. In football - our kicker. More prominently, basketball and baseball. And what if our #1 golfer had been able to go? No idea on that one - but it likely didn't help against 'Bama not have him. But there is little dispute how much Evans toe injury hurt us. Very likely we win the Big 12 with him healthy. And even how much better with a full season Zack? Baseball? 3 of your probable top 5 throwers out. Especially #1. It has changed this season from a probable serious NC contender to maybe we'll get out of regional's. I think the team did about as well as you could have expected without the top arms. But, man, what might have been. What might have been in all the above sports.
