RECRUITING: In-state RB on recent Texas Tech offer

I caught up with Hallettsville RB Jonathon Brooks very briefly before the start of the Houston Rivals Camp on Sunday. He just landed an offer from Texas Tech a couple weeks back and plans to visit soon. Has a brief comment about the Red Raiders in the article below. Size-wise he looks legit and I know he put up huge numbers this past fall. He didn't wow, but it is hard for a RB to do that in a camp setting. Based on what I did see of him he looked really solid and quickness, agility, pad level all checked out.
