2002 - Omar marries Hirsi. They have two children.
2008 - Omar divorces Hirsi.
2009 - Omar marries Ahmed Nur Said Elmi.
2011 - Omar divorces Elmi religiously, but they remain married legally.
2012 - Omar and Hirsi have their third child. She is still married to Elmi.
2017 - Omar and Elmi divorce.
2018 - Omar and Hirsi remarry.
Apparently she remained only legally married to Elmi, who is rumored to be her brother, to obtain his immigration status into the US.
From 2013-2016 she was filing her tax returns jointly with Hirsi, while still married to Elmi.
An old instagram post shows Elmi, her rumored brother, saying that he is happy to welcome another niece (Omar and Hirsi's third child).
