It will not only set horrible precedent! It will also open Pandoras box that many will soon follow knowing the rewards for outweighed the small cost in worldly values!
If NCAA doesn't take that into consideration, then college athletes is really screwed up forever!
I still, based on moral code can & would never advocate doing it personally. Yet sure would understand the worldly argument from that stand point.
Personally my values & morals integrity & character etc aren't for sale at any cost. Much less Christian values. But if just looked at it not considering those. It tells everyone to play the game that ugly despicable way as reward is well worth small cost.
