Yes, I posted the article as well so we wouldn't provide click bait. It better not play out this way based on what we've seen from both teams so far this year. Especially Tech.
I found it interesting Tech still leads the series 21-20-3 even after losing 8 straight. Tech owned osu for a while just like they have the last 8 years. It will turn the other way. Tech is too good a program. And osu will get caught.

Oklahoma State Football: 3 bold predictions vs. Texas Tech in Week 5
by Andrew Miller2 hours agoFollow @andrewmillerssc
3. Mason Rudolph totals six touchdowns
Oklahoma State has a history of rolling through opponents after a loss. Head coach Mike Gundy did not come into the TCU game extremely prepared. That’s likely to change this week against Texas Tech.
Senior quarterback Mason Rudolph also did not come with his best game against the Frogs. Rarely will a quarterback like Rudolph ever get outplayed by one like TCU’s Kenny Hill. However, that is something that happened in Week 4.
Texas Tech will put up points on the Oklahoma State defense. However, expect Rudolph to have a huge bounce back performance both on the ground and in the air. Rudolph does have three rushing touchdowns on the season.
Last year’s meeting with the Red Raiders saw Rudolph go turnover-free with nearly 400 passing yards and three total touchdown. His touchdown total will increase while his passing yards number will stay in the same ballpark.
2. Nic Shimonek struggles for the first time
Texas Tech senior quarterback Nic Shimonek has helped Raider fans forget about departed star quarterback Patrick Mahomes through the first three games. Shimonek threw for 1,248 yards and 11 touchdowns with only one interception.
The Houston game looked like a big step forward for Shimonek and the Red Raiders. It was their first victory of the season when they entered the game as underdogs. Houston’s defense is nothing to mess around with, especially All-American defensive tackle Ed Oliver.
Even against a solid Houston defense, Shimonek still totaled five touchdowns, three of which came on the ground. Shimonek’s versatility has shown through in the last two games against Houston and the Arizona State Sun Devils with four rushing touchdowns.
Keeping up with the high-powered and newly motivated Oklahoma State offense is going to be a different type of challenge for Shimonek. He has not been in this type of spotlight yet in his career like he is in Texas Tech’s Big 12 opener.
1. Justice Hill rushes for 150 yards and two scores
One of the largely forgotten players on the Oklahoma State offense is sophomore running back Justice Hill. During his freshman campaign, Hill was the first 1,000 yard rusher for the Pokes since Joseph Randle.
Texas Tech was one of Hill’s bigger performances last year, where he took 18 attempts for 126 yards and a touchdown. That sparked three follow-up performances with at least 99 yards in each game, including a 154 rushing yard effort against TCU.
The Frogs did a good job containing Hill, for the most part, last week. Hill only managed slightly over 4.0 yards per carry on 25 attempts. He’ll be itching to get loose in Week 5. And, Texas Tech’s front seven is nowhere near as strong as TCU’s.
Oklahoma State offensive coordinator Mike Yurcich should be looking to give Rudolph an easy start to this game. We’ll see a heavy dose of Hill early in the first half to get the Pokes settled in after their first loss of the season.
