but I wonder if Tech losing a home match to a weak Kansas State squad this weekend cost them an NCAA bid. Had they won, they would have been tied for fourth with Iowa State at 8-8, but would have had one more overall win than ISU. As it is, Tech lost on Senior Day to a team they swept in Manhattan and ended up at 7-9. Of course, they should not have lost to TCU at home either. Anyway, ISU is going to the NCAA playoffs along with Baylor, Texas, and OU. TCU and K-State tied for 7th place each going 4-12 with one of their wins against Tech on Tech's home court. A disappointing end to what looked to be a playoff season. Maybe next year.
