I may be in the minority but I'm not surprised at all with our record. We lost one of the best O-Lineman (Clark) in Tech's history and we would be starting several O-Lineman who have not played a college game yet. We lost one of the best RB's (Washington) in Tech's history and was replaced by an inconsistent Stockton and an unproven sophomore. Now we are starting a true freshman who has played very well the last two games. We knew our defense would be a challenge especially with losing Dakota Allen and knowing many true freshman would be playing meaningful minutes.
To me this year is a trial year and one in which many young players are gaining experience that will pay dividends next year.
We also knew that hiring Kliff was a long-term investment and would be learning on the job. Am I disappointed with this year? Absolutely but I can easily see a solid foundation being built for future years.
Please keep your chin up and guns up!
