I spent all of the past recruiting cycle talking shit about the coaches inability to close on recruits. Apparently they are way smarter than all of us message board retards, and were keeping the powder dry until the portal hit. This is an absolute masterclass that will never be reproduced due to the changing of the rules.
Whoever thought up the idea of taking a small class and not overspending for high school kids deserves a raise. Blanch and Company must have spent month preparing for this, and they did not disappoint. Portal recruiting is done at a breakneck pace, and obviously they have "feelers" out on kids that are not yet in the portal.
