I was somewhat aware of this but hearing the details was very eye opening for me. Players can be signed to 1, 2, or 3 year contracts. Contracts can be bought out by either side. Hard salary cap with severe penalties for exceeding it. There will be a clearinghouse to enforce all this. Also, no plans going forward to fundraise for facilities.
