I am feeling better about the future. Kirby spoke with conviction about his HC and staff. If he is willing to stand behind his decisions it gives me a sense of more going on in the background than is visible on this Board. Kliff was young and green when hired. He is working with a short deck in terms of resources and Kirby indicates that he is going to get Kliff the resources to allow him to do his job and compete.
Coupled with the progress of the defense against Baylor, my belief that Pat stays, the addition of a real OC, and the help on the way, Kirby's vote of confidence (regardless of the economics of a buy out) makes me optimistic.
