He has always eyed the OU job as his "dream job". Took the UNT job to return to this region and further develop the recruiting ties. Was hopeful that he could show enough success that when Stoops retired he would be on the short list.

Must be tough when you think you are doing everything right as a Coach and you lose out to Lincoln Riley...
