I turned the game off at 61-45 with about 10 min left to go.
We shot like trash, didn’t take care of the ball and displayed some lazy and uninspired defense the first 30 of the game. I’ve had a long week with a long day planned today and I just couldn’t bear the heartbreak that was surely headed my way and also miss that little bit of extra sleep.
Wife woke me up at 6 to let me know we won (my son told her before he left for morning workout). So I missed the sleep either way and couldn’t be happier. That’s something I never do. I’m one of the guys who will stay til the end of a blowout to sing the matador song. I’ll watch the post game if a bad loss just to process what happened. Last night I gave up and ended up missing history. You’re all welcome.
