The great UH team of Slama Jama, 3 of those players had told Tech coach Meyers they plan to go to Tech. Then Ologayan showed up at Uh and they stayed there. He was sent here to Texas from somewhere not in USA.. He showed up in Austin and that Coach at the time being honest sent him to UH!! I saw that group play when I was in Houston. I also say Bubba Jenning drive the land and put in layup on Ologayans,
Now there was a Nat Champ Jr College team from Snyder I think. They were all coming to Tech. Then Ark coach got them to come to Ark and they did well,
I also recall Bob Knight saying that G Meyers was one of the top 7 coaches in BB. I bet the Idalou Wildcat did not know this. ha
