So in my ponderings today I’ve been thinking of what ways to spread the talent across CFB hopefully leading to new winners and not the same handful of blue bloods at the top.
I don’t think adding more teams to a playoff makes a difference in the outcome.
Here’s my thought. Why not enforce each scholarship given out to be gone for 4 years. So basically if your team is loaded with NFL talent(Bama, Clemson, OU,Georgia, etc) and several leave at the end of their RS So year or as a junior then their scholarship is still gone for the additional year. In theory, at least in my mind, this would encourage the teams that pump out NFL teams to limit the amount of stars they have or risk being shorthanded in following seasons. Or on the flip side teams like Bama won’t have the advantage of having the best talent on the field every year.
What do y’all think?
What other ideas do y’all have?
