Everyone is aware that our entire OL is returning this year along with most of the top replacements. That said, how good do we expect them to be? Akamnonu, Bruffy, and Stawarz made All Big 12 honorable mention last year and Anderson was a freshman All American. The fact that Madison may not even be a started this year is a testament to the depth on this team. Texas Football just listed Madison, Bruffy, and Anderson as preseason All Big 12. It appears that Deaton may earn a spot the starting lineup somewhere on the intererior. Size won't be a problem as all 10 in the in the depth chart except for Stawarz are listed 305 or over. And Stawarz is a runt at only 295. It appears that all have developed a lot physically. And I expect a major improvement in their technique and mental preparation as well. Is it possible that this could be one of the best offensive lines in the Big 12? Having 2 solid rbs and a mobile qb will only help the situation. With our historical success at developing QB's and WR's, it's hard to imagine this offense not being better than '17. What's amazing is that Stawarz will be the only top lineman graduating so we should be even stronger next year.
