How good was it that we replaced Eric Morris?

Just read this article that was an interview with now LSU receiver Jonathan Giles.

In the article, he states his main reason for leaving was the friction between him and Coach Morris. I know that I have read some of the comments on the recruiting threads regarding our lack of receiver depth that some have pointed to Coach Morris' lack of success on the recruiting trail. Just thought it was interesting and mainly have a lot of questions. I personally thought that Coach Morris was a good coach in his tenure at TTU. Was I right to think so? Was I wrong? Was Kingsbury doing most of the heavy lifting on offense, limiting his ability to be more of a head coach? Is Kevin Johns an upgrade from Morris? If so, could we be stressing/doubting a little too much of how our offense will produce this coming season?
