The Texas Rangers are currently 5-5 over the last 10 games. They have blown the home field advantage being currently tied with the Boston Red Sox for the same record who are 10-0 over the past 10 games.
Boston plays 3 at the Yankees who are basically a .500 team then have 3 at home vs Toronto who are 5.5 games behind but trying to get into the playoffs.
Texas has 6 home games left, 3 vs Brewers and 3 vs Rays, both are .500 teams.
Texas needs to win 1 more game than the Red Sox to secure HFA throughout the playoffs.
Not sure who has the head to head advantage between the Rangers and Sox.
Pitching for the Rangers is questionable right now, IMO.
According to this site the Rangers chances of winning the WS is 8.8% vs Red Sox at 18.1%.

Go Rangers but I'm having a hard time getting my hopes up.
It's all about pitching.
