How are you getting to the bowl game?

Was planning on staying downtown and taking the metrorail to and from game. However, the last train leaves at like 11:30. With the game not starting til 8, I'm thinking I'd be SOL on the way back. Is a parking pass the way to go? Thanks in advance.
