Houston to Lubbock: What driving route do you take?

Having a discussion about which is the best route to Lubbock and I wanted to see what route the majority of you used. So what say you?
Also I know "driving is for the poors", "Dallas > Houston" and "only people who wear cargo shorts would drive"
