We have a 4th floor to our townhome and it is completely unfinished. Looking to add meaningful square footage to the home. So it would need to be up to code as livable space. Hoping to put in a bar (the 4th floor also has a huge deck area), built-in desk area, maybe a murphy bed, and hopefully a trap door or something like that (who wouldn't want that?). I think we could add 400 square feet if we moved around the air conditioning channels, but maybe more. There will still be plenty of storage space in the area for typical attic storage items
anybody have any recommendations on who to use? I plan on accepting a handful of bids and plans before getting started.
also let me know if you can think of any other great ideas for that space, because we are starting from scratch, so it can be whatever we want
